Grace grew up in Akron, OH and is an undergraduate student at Xavier University. She is a Biology major with minors in Chemistry and Environmental Studies on the Pre-Veterinary Medicine track. She would like to pursue a career in Veterinary Medicine and hopes to combine her love for animals with her passion for animal conservation and the environment. Grace has experience working with farm animals, has done research with sharks and stingrays, and currently volunteers at a local animal shelter in Cincinnati. She is excited to gain experience and knowledge while working at Riverview Animal Hospital. Grace has a Russian tortoise named Svetlana at school, and her family has a German Shepherd named Parker. While she is not at school, Grace coaches gymnastics and likes to come out of her retirement to do some flips at the gym. She loves to be with her family, go on walks with her dog, and attempt to make meals and desserts for her family and friends. Grace compliments the pets she meets with the typical phrase, “Oh you are so cute!” as she hopes to make them feel comfortable and loved at the hospital. She is excited to continue her path towards Veterinary Medicine and to help as many animals as she can!
