Diagnostic Services

At Riverview Animal Hospital we have many blood tests that can be run in the hospital with results in several minutes, such as heartworm disease, feline immuno-deficency virus, and feline leukemia virus. Our laboratory also consists of a chemistry machine, which is used to screen your pet prior to anesthesia or aid in diagnosis if your pet becomes ill.  We also have the capabilities to look at cytology and parasite identification.  We work with a national veterinary laboratory for more detailed services such as histopathology and a complete blood count.
