As a mascot of Riverview, I am proud of the awesome team that works at RAH. (Have you ever looked at the logo? That’s me, Kyra!) The first Friday of every month they have a staff meeting to go over boring stuff like policies to make sure that they are all on the same page and to make sure that the team is providing the best possible care to you and your pets! But they also do fun stuff where one team member presents what we call a “continuing education” on a topic that interests them. It can range from medical diseases, medication side effects, communication skills and even breeds of dogs. It is super fun to see the team continually learning and even having some friendly competition as they quiz each other on their knowledge. So if you ever call or try to visit us on the first Friday of the month, don’t be surprised if we’re closed for an hour.
